In May we brought you the news that, after its sell-out run of pop-ups across London, United Ramen was considering putting down roots. Now Harden’s can reveal that the noodle bar’s permanent home in Islington will be offering a soft launch period ahead of its opening on 1 September. Diners visiting the restaurant between 22-30 August can enjoy a 50 per cent discount on food and soft drinks.

There is also a launch night on Thursday 21 August at 105-106 Upper Street, Islington, N1 1QN from 7pm. Tickets, available from Grub Club, cost just £7.50, and include either a starter or dessert and, of course, a choice of any ramen dish from the menu. You’ll also get 50 per cent off any additional food and soft drinks.

United Ramen is already well known in N1, thanks to several successful pop-ups at House of Wolf in Upper Street, including its Ramen Meets USA night (when Buffalo wings and BBQ pulled chicken met yakitori and noodles). They have also held events at The Hope pub in Fitzrovia and Tooting Market.
