The Balham Food Festival is once again kicking off with the Balham Banquet on Sunday 24 September between 11a m-5 pm on Hildreth Street and Bedford Hill Place, showcasing the vibrant local food offering.
In its third year the Balham Banquet offers a funday for all, attracted over 1,500 local residents and visitors last year. With over 30 stalls, guests will be able to sample exquisite street food, alfresco bars and visit a wide selection of food related stalls plus music from Wandsworth Radio and children’s activities. Local support at the event comes from: Balham Baptist Church, Bodeans BBQ, Brindisa, Bucci Restaurant, Deelight Bakery, Escape the Daily Grind, Franco Manca, Gazette, Goose Island, Haché Burgers, Hagen & Hyde, Hayman’s Gin, Indian Room, The Regent and Whirly Wine
The Balham Food Festival continues with a week of promotional activity showcasing Balham’s local food businesses from Monday 25 September – Sunday 1 October, which will be promoted via http://balhamfoodfestival.com/ .
