Smart Australian café brand Daisy Green will open its biggest venue yet in Bishopsgate on the edge of the City of London next Wednesday (19 October). Paradise Green is inspired by the high-rise holiday resort of Surfers Paradise on Queensland’s Gold Coast, where co-founder Prue Freeman spent time as a student.
The 10,000 sq ft operation is said to deliver “art, design and food on an epic scale in an art gallery-style restaurant”. Paradise is the 13th venue in the Daisy Green Collection, and the third to open this year following Johnny Green in St John’s Wood and Peggy Jean, a barge moored on the Thames at Richmond.
Prue and her English husband Tom Onions launched Daisy Green as founding members of Kerb street-food collective 10 years ago.
