Restaurateur Ray de Fazio is to open a new Italian restaurant in Wimbledon village.
Cent Anni will launch in March as a 100-cover site cooking for lunch and dinner.
The restaurant will serve “modern and classic” food, which will sit alongside a wine list focused on Italian vintages.
Cent Anni will offer a set lunch at £15 for two courses. The a la carte will be priced at around £45 per person.
It’s De Fazio’s first restaurant south of the river. He also owns Cafe Med in St John’s Wood and Med Kitchen in Kensington. (Both have yet to generate much in the way of feedback from reporters as yet.)
Cent Anni, on Wimbledon High Street, is located in a former branch of Cau, Gaucho’s failed casual steak chain which closed last year after the group plunged into administration.
