A new Indian restaurant – inspired by the days of British Raj India – serving dishes from multiple regions of India alongside gin-based cocktails opens on High Street Ken today (15 March). Raj of Kensington is offering 50% off food during its soft launch from 15-24 March. Diners just need to mention this offer when booking (available only for groups of six or less).
On the menu: Ajwani Jingha, an exotic dish that originated in the city of Jaipur, and Achari Hiran, a venison dish created in Bhopal in the central state of Madhya Pradesh. The restaurant will also offer drinks specialising in gin cocktails, including Jodhpur Gin.
Raj of Kensington, will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, as well as takeaway. It is spread over two floors, with the basement room available for private hire.
