Hakkasan to sell Chrysan site

It was supposed to be the restaurant that would launch yet another international brand for the Hakkasan Group. But instead its Japanese fine dining affair, Chrysan, closed after six months and the group is now selling off the site.

The 100-cover restaurant, located at Broadgate West in Snowdon Street, is now on the market. It is not yet known if a buyer has been found.

Chrysan opened at the end of 2012 in partnership with noted Japanese chef Yoshihiro Murata of Kyoto’s Kikunoi restaurant. The venture was Hakkasan’s second Japanese restaurant in the capital after the group’s purchase of Sake No Hana in 2012.
