bill_clerkenwell_2_ 44 copyHot on the heels of the launch of its Clerkenwell site, Granger & Co has announced the arrival of its third London outpost – this time in the growing restaurant hub of King’s Cross. Aussie chef Bill Granger’s “chilled” and “appealing” diners fit the bill for a relaxed brunch according to our reporters, although the odd critic finds them “inconsistent”.

The third branch has snapped up a space on the ground floor of the Stanley building in St Pancras Square. Open today (15 June) the 86-cover restaurant will offer all-day dining and take-out coffee, showcasing menu items inspired by Granger’s travels from Tokyo and Seoul to Honolulu and Sydney. Like its predecessors in Notting Hill and Clerkenwell, the King’s Cross site will serve Granger & Co’s popular brunch items.

Once a bit of a restaurant wasteland, King’s Cross has really upped its game in terms of nightlife since the unveiling of Granary Square. Granger’s latest venue joins other popular chains in N1, following in the footsteps of Dishoom, CaravanVinoteca and (god help us) Jamie Oliver’s new HQ.
