Rosa’s Thai Cafe is continuing its rapid and unrelenting expansion plans with the promise of multiple new sites this year.
The casual dining brand, once a small London cafe, could see another eight branches launch over the next 12 months.
There are currently 28 Rosa’s across the UK, and more locations outside the capital, such as Liverpool, Manchester, and Leeds, are seen as strong areas for growth.
So-called ‘cloud kitchens’ could also be established as the brand looks to the potential of delivery food.
Rosa’s managing director Gavin Adair told The Caterer the brand could open eight or more locations. The publication reported the company performed well, mostly thanks to takeaway, despite the pandemic.
While restaurants won’t be going anywhere, Adair wrote in its accounts that the company may still yet need to “re-evaluate the viability of some sites and rent each site is able to carry”.
“The ambition to significantly grow the estate remains intact,” Adair wrote.
