Good news for oenophiles. London’s private club dedicated to wine – which filled its membership quota before it even opened in 2015 – is once again taking new members after a recent expansion.
67 Pall Mall opened a new floor of their Sir Edwin Lutyens’ building in St James’s, on 31 October. Born from a passion for fine wine and a frustration at the egregious mark-ups on the capital’s wine lists, 67 Pall Mall’s mission is to make the world’s finest wines accessible to its members at sensible prices. The Club’s diverse list of over 4,000 wines is expertly curated by Master Sommelier, Ronan Sayburn.
The new floor, which has doubled the seating capacity of the Club, features a new bar that has expanded the already extensive offering of wines by the glass to 800, delivered using Coravin’s wine system. The new space is also serving a new sharing menu.
The expansion has allowed the club to accept new full members for the first time since membership of the club closed in May 2015, seven months before opening, due to overwhelming demand. Prospective members are asked to visit www.67PallMall.co.uk for more information.
