Neighbourhood pizzeria Zia Lucia – dubbed “the best thing to happen around Holloway Road for some time” by our reporters – is opening a second restaurant in west London on Saturday 3 February. Following the success of their Islington original (it’s “mega busy” so “remember to book”) founders Claudio Vescovo and Gianluca D’Angelo will bring their signature 48-hour, slow fermented doughs to Brook Green.

Zia Lucia W12 will be offering 50% off food for the soft launch from Saturday 3-Thursday 8 February.

Maintaining its ethos of great value genuine Italian food, all wood-fired pizzas will be priced from £7-£11 and will be available on the four types of dough: traditional white flour, wholemeal, gluten free and a vegetable charcoal black base. Toppings range from Italian favourites such as fiery nduja, spicy spianata salami, burrata to truffle honey, rich gorgonzola and vegan butternut squash cream. For the launch month, Zia Lucia will add a limited edition, green vegetable dough to the menu; named after their new neighbourhood the ‘Brook Green Dough’.
