Next week Bonnie Gull’s executive chef Luke Robinson will take over the kitchen at Islington’s neighbourhood rotisserie restaurant, Le Coq. The evening (24 November) forms part of a monthly series of guest chef events where a bespoke menu is served for one night only.
Robinson’s menu incorporates many signature dishes from his fish-led Fitzrovia restaurant (pictured), including blow-torched Manx Queenies with pickled raisins, endives and hazelnuts, and rotisserie Cornish hake in hay, hispi cabbage and celeriac puree – served with crispy chicken skin (a nod to his hosts). And to finish, Bonnie Gull’s Jersey cream soft serve 99 flake.
The menu costs £35 per person. To make a reservation call 020 7359 5055 or visit www.le-coq.co.uk for further information.
