Open House, the new sister company to Cubitt House, will open its first restaurant – Percy & Founders – on 2 April. The new all-day dining spot, spearheaded by ex Murano head chef Diego Cardoso, launches in Fitzrovia’s Fitzroy Place development.
Early birds can get 50% off food from Thursday 26 March to Wednesday 1 April 2015 during the restaurant’s soft launch period. Percy & Founders will be open from 5pm and taking bookings from 7pm – 9pm on 26 March. From 27 March to 1 April they’ll be open for lunch (12-2pm) and dinner (7-9pm). To book email: reservations@percyandfounders.co.uk or call 020 3761 0200.
Percy & Founders has been in the works for some time. We reported back in January 2014 that Cubitt House had snapped up a space in the Fitzroy Place development, on the former site of Middlesex Hospital. However, the restaurant group (behind a string of popular gastropubs in well-heeled Belgravia and its environs) has formed a sister company who will launch their latest venture in March 2015.
The 200-cover restaurant on the corner of Mortimer Street serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as café fare. It marks the group’s first move away from gastropubs and foray into all-day dining.
Percy & Founders’ name is inspired by the Duke of Northumberland, Hugh Percy, and the group of philanthropists who founded Middlesex Hospital in 1755.
