The Little Yellow Door (an eclectic pop-up bar based on a fictional flat-share between friends) returns to Notting Hill Gate on 25 March. The Wandering Chef – the chef behind the recent Game of Thrones themed pop-up at the Andaz Hotel that almost sent Twitter into meltdown – will create a regularly changing menu, the first one being inspired by Luigi, the newest ‘flatmate’ of the house fresh off the plane from Toscana.
On the men: Smoked Beef, Ricotta and Capers, Burrata, Aubergine, Rye and Oregano, Egg Tagliatelle with Spiced Duck Ragu, and Luigi’s special weekly pasta. Bang on trend the Little Yellow Door will be serving up Aperol Spritz as an icebreaker (a drink that currently seems to be ubiquitous among the city’s drinking dens). Two courses and a cocktail for £20. No bookings required, just knock on the door.
