A new rooftop bar will open near Marble Arch this weekend, just in time for summer. Roofnic is a hidden oasis accessible via a (now not so) secret entrance between 533 and 535 Oxford Street.
Open for after work drinks, sunny lunch breaks and picnics, as well as escaping the busy shops and crowds of Oxford St below, Roofnic will launch on Saturday 23 May. The roof is decked out with AstroTurf flooring, bright retro furniture, wooden benches, communal cushioned seating areas, herbs and flowers, and, of course, a marquee for when the English summer takes a predictable turn for the worse.
