Italian burger brand Ham Holy Burger is to open its first UK outlet in a new ‘social space’ this week at the flagship John Lewis store in Oxford Street. Ham Holy Burger has four sites in its homeland (in Milan and Rome).
Launching alongside the burger bar is a restaurant from the company’s sister pizza brand, Rossopomodoro which already has eight sites in the UK (in London and Birmingham). What a sign of the times that the bastion of old fashioned service that is John Lewis is offering up burgers and pizzas to its customers. Surely a hipster backlash must follow?
