Spurred on by Tottenham’s dearth of good local restaurants, former Quality Chop House staffer Genevieve Sparrow (left in picture), who has lived in the North London area for several years, is opening a new neighbourhood spot on West Green Road next week.
Pasero, which started out as a supper club, will launch on Thursday (27 October), with a kitchen run by Pip MacDonald (right), until recently head chef at Levan, on the other side of London in Peckham.
The venue, a former William Hill bookies, will operate as an all-day cafe serving sandwiches at lunchtime before morphing into a bar and restaurant in the evenings, with a modern European menu.
Genevieve says: “I’m looking forward to Pasero becoming part of the vibrant fabric of West Green Road. I’m hoping that we can make it a real neighbourhood gem, and a reason to visit Tottenham even if you don’t live close by.”
