Luke Findlay is launching a second branch of his ‘traditionally inauthentic’ ramen concept Supa Ya today, in Peckham’s Rye Lane. The former Berber & Q head chef developed the idea as a supper club in his Hackney flat, mixing Japanese ramen with classic British and European flavours, before road-testing it as a pop-up and opening his first bricks-and-mortar bar in Kingsland Road, Dalston, last year.
Diners can expect to such ingredients as Cumberland sausage, roast chicken, salt beef, pickles and mustard and fried cabbage with parmesan cheese on top of their bowls of noodles and broth.
Ramen will be sold at £5 off at the new branch of Supa Ya Ramen today, tomorrow and Sunday.
