From Eric Snaith (chef/patron of Norfolk’s “wonderful” Titchwell Manor) comes this standalone fish and chip restaurant. Eric’s Fish & Chips opens in East Anglian coastal town Thornham this April serving traditional chippy fare with a modern twist.
Early birds can get 50% off during a soft launch period from 7-17 April.
Eric’s uses local tatties for the chips (cooked in beef dripping) and only seasonal, sustainable MSC-certified fish – beer-battered to ensure that authentic traditional flavour. Other mains include mackerel with buttermilk, beetroot & sorrell and halloumi & spinach arancini. For dessert there’s homemade ice creams with flavours like apple crumble, made from local Drove Orchard apples. A concise wine list is served alongside.
