The Good Egg, a street food startup that crowd-funded £250K to acquire a plum spot on Stokey’s Church Street, will open its first standalone site on 25 September. Sign up for The Good Egg newsletter to be sure of an invite to their soft launch, running 25-27 September.
Throughout the summer The Good Egg has remained true to its street food roots, appearing as a market stall at the Kerb Emerald Street Brunch and ‘Gefiltefest’ Food festival in August.
On the menu: Good Egg burger (aged beef & bone marrow patty, secret recipe cheese, crispy pastrami, Russian dressing, house pickles and a runny egg in a challah bun); Iraqi Aubergine stuffed pitta (fried aubergine, egg, pickled salad, tahini, amba & Yemenite green chilli).
