Florentine, a new all-day dining restaurant and cocktail bar opposite Lambeth North tube station, has launched London’s biggest beef burger. Not for the faint-hearted, the Herculean Burger feeds 4-6 people, weighs 2kg, and is priced at £55.
Created by head chef Ryan Matheson, the patty is made from 1kg of 100 per cent British beef from Derby and is the epitomy of indulgence with highlights including (but not limited to): homemade brioche bun; 20 slices locally cured bacon; six Portobello mushrooms; beef tomatoes; 200g Montgomery cheese; homemade truffle mayonnaise with lashings of freshly grated truffle; and omemade chips, dips and sweet potato fries
