Andy Jones is to open a second branch of Dalston institution Jones & Sons next month, in South Woodford. The original industrial-style restaurant and grill achieved fame as the location for the 2021 film Boiling Point.

Andy announcing the news via an Instagram post, saying: “Over the moon and absolute petrified that I’ll be opening Jones & Sons 2.0 next month (June)!

“The new site is a beautiful 6500 sq foot site in South Woodford with a huge open kitchen, function room, private dining snug, Chefs table and a cocktail bar on the lower ground floor and on the upper floor a beautiful bar and two further dining spaces.”

The new branch is taking over the former site of Elmo’s Pizza, with Kieran Hope (left in pic, with Andy, right), the head chef from Dalston, putting together a ‘modern British’ menu based around seasonal produce sourced from local suppliers.

Andy said: “It may sound cliché, but there’s something special about seeing people relax into their seats, knowing they’re in for a memorable experience. Whether it’s a romantic date, a casual catch-up with friends, indulging in a Sunday Roast with all the trimmings and wine, or letting loose indulging in a Sunday Roast with all the trimmings and wine, or letting loose over brunch, I want everyone to feel welcomed and cared for.“
