Shiny new City steakhouse M Restaurant – founded by ex Gaucho head honcho Martin Williams – will host an evening of food, drink and banter on Tuesday 17 February. Go on a culinary journey through six countries, sip cocktails and take part in mini masterclasses, all while being regaled with stories by food writers Tom Parker Bowles and Matthew Fort joined by Williams and his head chef Jarad McCarroll.
The evening will start with a cocktail reception at 6.30pm followed by a tasting dinner and concluding with all guests, plus Tom and Matthew, competing in a blind ‘taste off’ of the six signature steaks showcased in the M GRILL restaurant. Tickets for the event cost £ 175 per person, including six taster plates and drinks. To book your place email: bookings@mrestaurants.co.uk. Anyone who quotes ‘Harden’s’ when they book will get a signed Tom Parker Bowles cookbook.
M, on the City’s Threadneedle Street, is the first solo project from restaurateur Williams and houses two 100-cover restaurants, a wine tasting bar, cocktail bar, private dining rooms, event spaces and a secret den.
