Last night (26 January) Harden’s hosted a sell-out dinner with acclaimed chefs Giorgio Locatelli and Andy Needham at Giorgio’s Marylebone HQ Locanda Locatelli – one of London’s most “polished” Italian dining rooms (“at its best, nowhere else matches it”). This one-off event, part of the Harden’s invites series, saw Giorgio step back into the kitchen with his former protégé Andy (now chef-patron of L’Amorosa in Ravenscourt Park) to co-create a special four course menu.
The evening started at 7 pm with an Ombra di Pantera Prosecco and canapé reception hosted by the chef-patron and Harden’s guide co-founder, Peter Harden. Then guests took their seats for a four course Italian menu (with two courses designed by Giorgio and two by Andy) with matching wines:

The Harden’s invites series kicked off last year with a sell-out evening at Le Gavroche in September hosted by Peter Harden and Michel, Emily and Giselle Roux, in celebration of the launch of their latest cook book New French Table. Followed by an evening at Jason Atherton’s flagship restaurant Pollen Street Social which saw Atherton cook alongside his head chefs from Social City and Social Eating House for the first time ever, then a special Great British Menu dinner at Birmingham’s Purnell’s – celebrating 10 years in business – and ending with a banqueting style sharing feast at Jun Tanaka’s The Ninth in Fitzrovia in November.
