The Imperial Treasure group is to open its first venture in London. The group, which operates acclaimed restaurants in China, Honk Kong, and Singapore, will launch a fine dining restaurant in St James’s in November 2018.
Harden’s reported on Imperial Treasure’s plans some time ago, but details have only just been officially confirmed.
Called Imperial Treasure Fine Chinese Cuisine, the restaurant is expected to be on the top-end of the outfit’s repertoire. The group has some 23 sites to its name, ranging from casual, to regional, to specialist haute cuisine.
The London outpost will be some 8,500 sq ft over three floors. Imperial Treasure signed a 25-year lease for the site in 2017.

“We are very excited to be opening our London restaurant in 10 Waterloo Place, St James’s,” said a company spokesman.
“We were searching for a location and size that reflects our brand and aspiration. When we identified this world class opportunity, we were very pleased to work with Barings Real Estate Advisers to introduce the very fine Chinese cuisine of Imperial Treasure to London’s residents and visitors.”
Imperial Treasure also intends to open a fine dining Chinese restaurant in Paris, focused primarily on Shanghai food.
