Valentina, a long-established family-run Italian deli in East Sheen, is reopening as a restaurant this weekend at its original location – familiar to thousands of motorists who pass on a busy southwest London stretch of the South Circular. A new deli has opened near the local Waitrose supermarket.
Owned and operated by three generations of the Zoccola family, Valentina opened as a modest deli in 1991 and gradually expanded, adding a cafe/restaurant behind the shop and opening a second branch in Weybridge.
The new restaurant serves classic southern Italian home-style dishes, while the deli stocks more than 1,500 high-quality Italian products and 150 wines from the peninsular.
