Sleek Sardinian cuisine for Mayfair

Sardinian chef Achille Pinna is to open a new self-named restaurant by the entrance to Shepherd Market in Mayfair next week.

Pinna is backed by prolific restaurateurs George Bukhov-Weinstein and Ilya Demichev, the duo behind Burger & Lobster and Goodman, who earlier this month launched Fantomas in Chelsea. Achille is a former executive chef at their Wild Tavern.

The new restaurant is billed as offering “Sardinia on a plate“, with an extensive raw bar, beef from Scotland and Spain, and a range of house-made pasta such as paccheri served with zucchini and sea urchin.

Pinna opens on Curzon Street on Monday 2 December.
