Fitzrovia cocktail bar The Lucky Pig will launch its second venture in Fulham on 16 May. The new outpost will be more than just a drinking den, however, with chef Michael Mannion heading up the kitchen of its all-day restaurant.
Mannion worked at such illustrious establishments as Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons and Claridge’s before tackling the arduous task of putting Wimbledon on the dining map during his time at the helm of local favourite The Light House.
Like the Fitzrovia original The Lucky Pig Fulham seeks to evoke the spirit of the roaring ’20s with a speakeasy sensibility, ornate bar, chesterfield sofas, live jazz and whimsically named cocktails, like Flapper’s Favourite.
On the menu: Pressed ox-cheek & bone marrow, soused baby beetroot, endive & Norbury blue and a dozen quail’s eggs, celery leaves, summer truffle & flaked salt.
