Tickets are now on sale for what will no doubt be the foodie-hipster event of the year. Auction Against Hunger, a fundraising evening benefitting Action Against Hunger, will be held on 21 May in collaboration with Dalston’s Street Feast and boasts a starry line-up of guest chefs.
The event kicks off at 6.30pm in Dalston Yard with the likes of Nuno Mendes (Chiltern Firehouse), Skye Gyngell (Spring), Isaac McHale (The Clove Club), Robin Gill (The Dairy), Nieves Barragan Mohacho (Barrafina), Anna Hansen (The Modern Pantry), Jose Pizarro (Pizarro Restaurant), James Lowe (Lyle’s) and Tom Parry (Kitty Fisher’s).
Street food vendors include: Yum Bun, Breddos (Taco War winners of 2014), Smokestak, Rola Wola, Bleecker St. Burger (who now have a permanent site in Spitalfields Market) and B.O.B.’s Lobster.
Attendees will be able to bid on lots like: A fishing trip with Tom Parker-Bowles and Mitch Tonks followed by a long lunch at The Seahorse restaurant; having the River Café to cook dinner in your house and dining out with Sir Terry Wogan.
Tickets for the event cost £55 per person and all funds go to aid Action Against Hunger. Buy tickets here.
