There appears to be some sort of epidemic breaking out in the City – something to do with pasta, chianti and air dried hams. News reaches us that a third Italian restaurant has opened in London’s financial this month. First Caterina55 (4 July) , then Scarpetta (7 July) and now La Tagliata has appeared in Sandy’s Row.
La Tagliata’s simple menu consists of handmade pasta starter, with a choice of three seasonal sauces; la Tagliata main course (sliced steak served on a bed of rocket with parmesan), or a vegetarian option; and Italian desserts all prepared by Antonio Tonelli and his team.
